Overview

Foundation programs for international students are nationally recognized programs that equip students with the skills and capabilities to seek entry into higher education in Australia. They provide an academic entry pathway into first-year or second-year undergraduate studies. The foundation pathways can lead you to the following fields in University;

  1. Business and Commerce
  2. Science and Medicine
  3. Engineering and Build Environment
  4. Art and Design
  5. Computing and IT
Students wishing to study have a variety of courses and specialization to apply to, with course structures depending on your field broken into 1 hour tutorials or laboratory exercises, 2 hour lectures or 3 hour seminars, students in university will have class room contact hours of 12 to 16 hours weekly.
 

Admission Requirements

Students intending to excel their studies in Australia’s University programs must meet a minimum academic requirement for entry into the programs, these requirements depend on the field and level of study. The minimum requirement would be for applicants to complete either;

  • Year 11 equivalent exam of 50 percent
  • GCE O-Level with 4 passes
  • Senior Middle 2 with 70%
  • Vocational Diploma
Students also must meet the Australian English Language Requirement of IELTS 5.5 with not bands below 5.0 for most general courses.
